1. The use of anionic flocculant

For sewage with suspended particles, and coarse, high concentration, positively charged particles, and the neutral or alkaline water pH value, because the molecular chain of anionic flocculant contains a certain amount of solid particles suspended in water, so that the particles are bridged to forms large floccules. Therefore, it accelerates the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, which has a very obvious effect of speeding up the clarification of the solution, and promoting filtration. (1) Used in textile, printing and dyeing industry.

With the characteristics of strong hygroscopicity, it can reduce the rate of breakage during spinning. Anionic flocculant as a post-treatment agent can prevent static electricity and flame retardancy of the fabric. When used as the printing and dyeing auxiliary, anionic flocculant can enable the product to have high adhesion fastness and brightness, and can also be used as a non-silicon polymer stabilizer for bleaching.

(2) Used in the petroleum industry

It has been widely applied in oil recovery, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, preventing water channeling, reducing friction, improving oil recovery, and tertiary oil recovery.

(3) Used in the paper industry

First, it can help increase the retention rate of fillers and pigments so as to reduce the loss of raw materials and environmental pollution; secondly it can increase the strength of the paper (including dry strength and wet strength). In addition, anionic flocculants can also increase the tear resistance and porosity of the paper to improve the visual and printing performance. Besides, it is adopted in paper of food and tea packaging.

(4) Used in the food industry and others

Anionic flocculant is used for cane juice clarification and syrup phosphorus floating extraction in the production of cane sugar and beet sugar, and is used in the enzyme preparation fermentation broth flocculation and clarification industry, and also used for the recovery of feed protein with a stable quality and good performance, and the recovered protein powder has no adverse effects on the survival rate, weight gain, and egg production of chickens.
