Efficient cationic flocculant has a white powder appearance and is a linear polymer compound. Due to its multiple active groups, it can form hydrogen bonds with many substances. It has good water solubility with ion concentration ranging from 20% to 55% and can dissolve in water in any proportion without dissolving in organic solvents. It exhibits the characteristics of a high polymer electrolyte and is suitable for the treatment of wastewater with anionic charges and high organic content.
Economical to use, achieving good results at low dosage.
Can significantly increase production efficiency or increase the solid content of sludge.
Easily soluble in water.
Can improve the capture rate of solids in solid-liquid separation during the production process.
Effective over a wide pH range.
Determine the optimal type and dosage through small-scale tests.
Prepare a 0.1%-0.3% (solid content) aqueous solution of the cationic flocculant product with neutral water without salt.
When dissolving in water, evenly sprinkle this product into stirred water and heat it appropriately (<60℃) to accelerate solution formation (stirring for about 40 minutes is ideal).
When preparing an aqueous solution of polyacrylamide, it should be done in enamel, galvanized, plastic, or aluminum drums and should not be prepared and stored in iron containers.
During dissolution, also pay attention to slowly and evenly adding the product to the dissolver with stirring and heating measures, avoiding solidification. The solution should be prepared at suitable temperatures and avoid excessive mechanical shear for a long time. It is recommended to stir at 60-200 rpm, as excessive shear degradation may affect the performance of the polymer.
The PAM aqueous solution should be prepared and used immediately. If the solution is left standing for a long time, its performance will gradually decline depending on the water quality.
Cationic flocculant is suitable for the treatment of wastewater with high organic colloid content in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food processing, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oilfields, and aquaculture and fermentation. It is especially suitable for the dehydration treatment of urban sewage, urban sludge, paper sludge, and other industrial sludge.
Operators should wear protective equipment to avoid contact of the concentrated solution of this product with the skin. In case of contact, immediately flush with plenty of water.
Avoid spilling the cationic flocculant product on the ground. If spilled, clean it up promptly to prevent slipping and injury when it comes into contact with water.
Cationic flocculant should be stored in a sealed and dry and cool environment. The suitable storage temperature is 5°C to 30°C.
